Naimisharanya popularly known as “Neemsar” is situated on the banks of river Gomti, a tributary of river Ganges about 88 KM North West of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh (Latitude 27-21N, Longitude 80-29E). It is about 40 KM from Hardoi.

BY TRAIN:-
It is connected by train from Balamau, Dist. Hardoi on the Balamau-Sitapur Branch Line on the Lucknow – Delhi main line of Northern Railway.
BY ROAD:-
Lucknow – Delhi National Highway (No. 24) about 50 KM from Lucknow to Siddauli on the NH 24 and about 38 km. on the Sidhauli- Naimisharanya State Highway. There is a regular Bus Service between Sitapur and Hardoi via Naimisharanya.

Nearest airport is Amausi Airport, Lucknow. and from there by road to Naimisharanya.
